DeGros Marsh Consulting is an independent consulting company that strives to support creative, healthy communities across Canada. We recognize the essential contributions that artists – and cultural organizations – bring to us as individuals and as communities. And we salute the creative efforts of the staff and volunteers of non-profit groups to foster a rich social fabric in our communities Inspired by artists and non-profit workers to do our part, we work with organizations and individuals to find practical solutions to everyday problems and to undertake new projects that are organizational priorities. We conduct research that explores the realities, needs and aspirations of key stakeholders, and proposes solutions and new policy directions. We facilitate dialogue and community engagement among diverse stakeholders, seeking solutions that reflect community or organizational capacity and include often marginalized voices. We bring our diverse and extensive management skills to four areas of specialization: Writing and publishing: Research, project management, facilitation, writing and editorial services. Cultural management: Research, project implementation, facilitation, policy development, writing and editorial services. Health and human resources: Management, community engagement, policy development and HR capacity building. Connecting government and community: Program and project review and evaluation, community engagement and facilitation.
